Founded in 2012, HDF Energy has two main activities:
- HDF Energy is an industrial company that designs and will mass-produce, starting in 2025, high-power fuel cells at its Blanquefort plant (near Bordeaux) for international markets in heavy mobility (particularly maritime and rail freight) and electricity production for grids.
- Specialized in electricity production from hydrogen, HDF designs, develops, finances, builds, and operates large hydrogen infrastructure projects. Our flagship model is the Renewstable®, a multi-megawatt power plant that produces renewable, clean, stable, and guaranteed electricity, day and night, from intermittent renewable energies (wind or solar) and large-scale energy storage in the form of green hydrogen generated on-site. Currently, we are developing these plants in around twenty countries worldwide.
Backed by a team of over 150 hydrogen experts boasting
more than a decade of operational experience across the value chain, HDF Energy
is currently developing a portfolio of projects valued at over €5
billion.
Headquartered in France, HDF Energy has regional
offices in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region
with 35+ nationalities among its staff. Since 2021, the Group has been listed
on the Euronext Paris stock market
